We welcome walk-ins. But to save your time and ours, please email or call to book an appointment with one of our tax specialists. Our office tends to get very busy during the tax season. Please go to Contact Us on this website and send us an email to schedule an appointment, or call the office at 407-339-2887 for your tax appointment. Once you make your appointment, please keep it! Otherwise You may have to wait till the end of the season to get another one. And please provide us with a good phone number so we can contact you before your appointment to remind you.
Documents Needed When Filing your Tax
1. Proper ID:Driver License,Pssport, Military ID, SS cards of filer,spouse, dependents and Birth Dates.
2. W-2s, 1099-MISCs. Social Security and Disability income. Bring entire form. Bring to our attention if you have out of state earnings.
3. Home mortgage interest and property taxes paid.Bring closing statements if you bought or sold a house or refinanced a mortgage in the tax year.
4. List and total your annual medical expenses and health insurance premium paid.
5. Child and disabled dependent care expenses. Need providers name,address and EIN or Social Security numbers.
6.Dividents or interest earned on 1099-DIV or 1099-INT.
7. Business expenses not reimbursed by employer. Auto mileage,tolls,parking,etc.Examples of auto mileage proof:
oil change or repair slip,photo of odometer reading at begining and end of tax year and mileage log.
8. Alimony received or paid. Social Security number of receipient is required.
9. Moving expenses for more than 50 miles.
10. IRA and KEOGH plan deposits for the year.
11. IRA or 401k distributions reported on 1099-R.
12. Tuitions and school books and supplies paid.
13. Student loan interest paid.
14. Rental property income and expenses associated with that property for the tax year.
15. Self-employed.An Income and Loss Statement is required by this tax office.
16. Gambling and Lottery winning reported on 1099-G. Losses can be deducted on Sch A.
17. Unemployment compensation. Bring 1099-G.
18. Sales of stocks and mutual funds reported on 1099-B. Please research your cost basis of each stock transaction and the date you bought and date you sold the stock. You can download a CSV file of your trades on your brokerage website and bring to our office for accurate reporting
19. Foster child. Court documents are required to properly claim child.
20. Retirement payments received and reported on 1099-R
21. Cash Charitable contribution require a letter from the charity or canceled checks.
